First Look: Panasonic Lumix DMC-SZ7

Panasonic announced the Lumix DMC-SZ7 at the CES 2012 in Las Vegas last January. SZ stands for Slim Zoom.

Specs of LUMIX DMC-SZ7:

  • 10x optical zoom with a 25mm ultra-wide angle LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens, in a slim and compact body,
  • 14.1 megapixels
  • Shoots full-High Definition, 1920 x 1080 60i videos and with Light Speed AF, it has a super-fast focus response time of approximately 0.1 second – making it easy to capture spontaneous must-have photos,
  • iA (Intelligent Auto) mode which automatically chooses the best camera settings for natural, beautiful images,
  • two new shooting modes – Miniature Effect and Panorama Shot,
  • Creative Retouch which includes six filters -Toy Effect, Soft Focus Dynamic Monochrome, Expressive, High Key and Retro.

Lamborghini Aventador…is one sexy beast

This sexy beast is the successor to the Lamborghini Murcielago. Please let me introduce to you the Lamborghini Aventador. Yah, baby! This supercar has two scissor-doors and uses a 6.5 liter V12 engine (definitely not eco-friendly). It’s transmission is a 7-speed single clutch gearbox. Not to mention, its 691 Horsepower where in can go from 0-60mph (100 km/h) in 3 seconds. The Lamborghini Aventador’s in-vehicle infotainment system sis powered by Nvidia Tegra processors for its multimedia and navigation system, that also displays real-time Google Maps data.

I totally car drooled over this Lamborghini when I saw it at CES this year in Vegas. Below is a video of the supercar being showcased at the big gadget show.
Price tag: $379,700 USD

I’m in a Nokia video to test the Nokia Lumia 710 and its Drive app

My gal Lindsay Smith (@TechLinz) and I took a limo ride from the Las Vegas airport to our hotel…only to try out the Nokia Drive app off its Lumia 710 (yes, I did complain on why they couldn’t give us the Lumia 900 to play with…then again, it has just launched that day at CES). Below, is promo video of the Nokia Drive app – after testing it, it was impressive. Loved that it had a 2D and 3D option.

Here’s the video from Nokia’s Conversation series. I’m a goof. I know. But, I’m sure you’ll have a good laugh.
